Her piece 'The New & Favourite Game of The Universe And The Golden Goose Egg' I think represents Determinism: all events inlcuding human actions and choices are fully determined by preceding events and states of affairs, and so that freedom of choice is illusory. I believe she chose the fabel of the golden goose egg to illustrate how if the goose hadn't laid a golden egg and if they weren't greedy the goose would not have been killed but because of those preceding events they did, not because of their freedom of choice but because of the chain reaction.
